Sunday School at 9:30 am.
 WITHDRAWN TEMPORARILY.

To reach the Priest-in-charge or the Wardens call the Parish office (905) 476-3491 or send email to info@rochespointparish.com

We hope to re-open when conditions improve, while observing important and necessary restrictions.

Since we will still need to maintain physical distancing, except for those who are in the same bubble, we will need to limit attendance in the church building to 25% of its capacity and carefully mark seating to provide for at least six feet of separation between those at the service (except for persons in the same bubble.)

Here are some of the special arrangements that will be in place on July 4th:

Everyone must wear a mask while at the service, even if speaking. Please bring your masks with you.

There will be trained volunteers at the entrance door who will ask if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 and ask you to add your name to a confidential attendance sheet that will be kept for some time.

There will be no singing of hymns.

There will be no moving about during the service:

o   Collection plates will be available for your gifts on the way in and on the way out.

o   Readings will take place from one lectern and there will be one reader for all the lessons.

o   We will not share the cup at Communion and consecrated bread will be given out as we leave.

o   We will not move or come physically close as we share the Peace.

o   There will be access to the toilets only for urgent use and all surfaces will be cleaned between use.

o   There will be no hymns.

o   There will be no assembling for “coffee hour” before or after the service.

These arrangements will seem very strict, but we are under strict rules from our church, our province and our municipality.  Many of you will consider not rushing back to services and we support you entirely in such a decision.

We do hope to continue our Zoom Bible Study on Fridays and our Zoom Saturday services.

The parish now worships at Christ Church, Roche's Point in Roches Point. Management of St. Paul, Jersey in Keswick was assumed by the Diocese of Toronto in 2017.

The Anglican Parish of Roches Point is in the Diocese of Toronto, a member of the Holland Deanery in the Episcopal Area of York-Simcoe.  Our Diocesan Bishop is The Rev. Andrew Asbil, Bishop of Toronto.  Our Area Bishop is The Rt. Rev. Kevin Robertson.
